Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to confirm the signing of 27-year-old midfielder Noah Edwards on a two year deal.
Edwards has established himself in the JD Cymru Premier over the last couple of years with a string of regularly impressive performances for Caernarfon Town since he joined the Cofi's in 2018. Edwards also spent a number of years working under Neil Gibson at Prestatyn Town before a brief spell with ourselves at the beginning of the 2018 campaign where he featured as a substitute in both of our Europa League ties against Belarusian side, Shaktyor Soligorsk.
On rejoining the club, Noah commented; "I'm really happy to have signed for The Nomads - having worked with Gibbo before and having spent a short time at the club a few years ago, I am very lucky to be coming back to the club and hopefully will help Connah's Quay add to the success that has been achieved over the last 6-7 years."
Neil Gibson added; "I'm really really pleased to have Noah on board - I'm really looking forward to working with him again having previously worked with him at both Prestatyn and briefly at Connah's Quay also - he's a footballer that I know really well having brought him through the academy at Prestatyn and then into the first team. In my opinion, he's now one of the most consistent midfielders in the JD Cymru Premier - his levels of consistency are outstanding and he also captained Caernarfon on a number of occassions last season, so he brings the leadership qualities that we are looking for whilst also being athletic, technically very good and he really suits the playing style we are trying to implement at the club."
Welcome back to The Nomads Noah!
