The club can today confirm that Danny Holmes' contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
Holmes originally joined The Nomads in May 2018 following a successful season at Bangor City where he made 33 appearances in the league for the Citizens. Prior to his time at Bangor, Holmes had two spells at Tranmere Rovers spanning a combined six seasons.
Holmes made his Nomads debut in the 2018 Europa League defeat against Shaktyor Soligorsk and would go on to be a mainstay in The Nomads starting eleven over the following five years, making a total of 141 competitive starts and four substitute appearances for the club.
Holmes was a key part of the team that made it to the Irn Bru Cup Final, defeated Kilmarnock and also won back-to-back JD Cymru Premier and Nathaniel MG Cup titles.
On his departure, Holmes commented; "All good things must come to a end. I've loved my time at The Nomads and I've met some friends for life along the way! I want to thank Andy Morrison for giving me my love for football back and the lads who I love dearly, for being incredible teammates. I'm glad I played a good part in the club's most successful period and wish the club the best moving forward!"
All the best for the future Danny and thanks for a fantastic five years of service to the club.
