Wednesday night saw the FAW host the Cup Draw Show on Red Wall Plus in which both our Men's First Team and Development Team were involved.
Our Men's First Team have been drawn away to JD Cymru South team, Caerau Ely in the next round of the FAW Welsh Cup, marking our first ever visit to the Cardiff-based team.
Ely booked their place in the Quarter Finals this past weekend with an impressive last gasp victory over Bala Town at Cwrt yr Ala Road, thanks to a 90th minute winner from Charlie Lewis. Ely currently sit eighth in the JD Cymru South on 22 points after 15 games, but have found a recent upturn in form having won their last four fixtures on the bounce.
Our own place was confirmed in the Quarter Finals thanks to John Disney's backheel in the second half against local Cymru North side, Mold Alexandra.
The Cup Draw Show also featured the draw for the FAW Youth Cup which has seen our U18's drawn away at Caernarfon Town. The U18s picked up an impressive 4-2 victory over Penydarren BGC on Sunday afternoon with goals from Jayden Tang, Shayan Dehy and a brace from James Hughes to book their place in the last eight.
The Welsh Cup Quarter Finals are scheduled to be played on the weekend of 14th-15th February with the Youth Cup Quarter Finals being played on 2nd February.
