Dugan returns to Cymru Premier at The Nomads

Connah's Quay Nomads are excited to announce the signing of 23-year-old striker, Elliott Dugan.

Bath-born Dugan started his career at Swindon Town's Academy before making the move to Sweden where he played for Ytterhogdals IK,before finding himself as somewhat of a social media star as he wrote to hundreds of clubs to help find himself his next move after being left without a club during the Covid pandemic.

Dugan's persistence earned himself a move to Cyprus where he would feature for APEA Akrotiri and Kouris Erimis before returning to the British Isles where he would play for Portadown in Northern Ireland before a spell at Haverfordwest County in the JD Cymru Premier.

Some of you may be familiar with Dugan as he scored a spectacular winning goal against The Nomads in our visit to Bridge Meadow back in January 2023, a strike which won the Goal of the Month.

Following his departure from the Cymru Premier, Dugan would go on to play for Tiverton, Taunton Town and Hungerford before signing for The Nomads.

On joining The Nomads, Dugan commented; "I'm delighted to join Connah’s Quay - I'm really looking forward to helping the team achieve our goals and pushing myself to be the best version of myself to achieve those goals."

Dugan will wear the number 10 shirt and will be available for selection following International Clearance.
