Ferguson is Nomads' new number nine

Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to confirm that 21-year-old striker Cameron Ferguson has joined the club.

The son of ex-Everton and Newcastle United forward Duncan Ferguson, Cameron started his career locally at the Everton Academy before signing for Tranmere Rovers as part of their scholarship programme.

Cameron would go on to join Newcastle United's U21 setup before playing in Scotland at Forfar Athletic and most recently Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Ferguson left Caley this past October as the club entered Administration.

On his arrival at the club, Ferguson commented; "I'm really happy to join The Nomads. Everyone has been very welcoming and I'm keen to help out where I can for a big push to the end of the season" Cameron is available immediately and will wear the number nine shirt for the club.
